Feature! Because sometimes I get to talk about skincare

Megy Karydes is a Chicago-based writer and author of, "50 Ways to More Calm, Less Stress." She's also a neighbor, and we share a mutual friend who suggested she reach out to me for a summer skincare article she was writing for Natural Awakenings Magazine. It was fun to work on this together! And to talk all things soap.

She included this quote from me - “If you want to keep it simple in the summer, find one solid, hardworking bar that does it all: shampoo, body wash and exfoliant,” says Sloan. “Your summer skin protection routine should be focused on feeling clean, refreshed and nourished, without the fuss.”

The magic bar I was referring to here is my Charcoal Sea Salt! I call it my "head to toe" bar, because I use it to wash my hair, face, and as an all over body bar. It's a great soap for hot summer days, post workout wash, or a hand wash after a day working outside. Mango butter makes it extra nourishing while the charcoal lends the most imperceptible scrub. I love it.
